What's new on the website? Thank you to all the parents who helped with the Dover Open and made it a huge success, and well done to Alison Martin for another great competition! |
Welcome to Dover Gymnastics
Established in 1976, Dover Gymnastics, a registered charity, is one of the most successful and longest-running gym clubs in Kent, currently catering for over 300 members from all over south and east Kent including Deal, Folkestone, Canterbury, Ashford and the Romney Marsh.
Each and every child is important to us and we cater for both boys and girls from 18 months to 15+ years. Our General Classes cater for boys and girls of all abilities. More able gymnasts are given opportunities to progress within the club and maybe join one of our Floor & Vault or Artistic squads.
We also run an Adult Session for adults of any age and ability.
For details of our Classes, please click on the link in the main menu on the left or on our Timetable.
We are one of the latest clubs in the South East region to be awarded the prestigious GymMark accreditation which means we are officially recognised by the national governing body, British Gymnastics, and Sport England as being a very well-run club with the very latest policies and procedures in place. You can find out more about how we ensure the health, safety and welfare of all our members in our policies page.
Dover Gymnastics Club is so much more than just a sports club. We're serious about gymnastics but we also like to have fun and think it's important to play an active role in our local community. We often make the news with the achievement of our members, our dedicated volunteers, and our social activities.
Active Dover
Dover Gymnastics Club is working with a district wide partnership called 'Active Dover' to increase participation in sport and active recreation. As you will see from our mission statement under the main menu to the left, this is very much part of our philosophy.
