Bonjour! Je m’appelle Camille

I am 12 years old and go to school in Folkestone.

I have two gorgeous cats: Goldie and Diesel... I try and teach them some gymnastics moves (they are sooooo flexible), and Goldie can perform a real forward roll (and she meows for a cat treat afterwards).



I started gym when I was 7½ and I’m still enjoying it 5 years later!

I tried gym for a few months in another club, but DGC is definitely the best! My mum, Christine-Louise, is my coach, and has been coaching me for 5 years.

I love all the girlies in my squad and still love of course those who have recently left. But I also love all the nice and smiley girls in other squads J



I have been in the Advanced Bronze Floor & Vault Squad for 2 years, but now at my next competition, I must compete in Silver ... HELP! I only just done my first round-off/flick/tuck back with support last week... and I must include it in my floor routine this time without support!



Since I started gym, I have won 13 gold medals, 4 silver and 2 bronze.

I love gym because it is a sport that is very varied. You work hard on your conditioning, your flexibility, your balance. You can get very elegant in your moves, and all this in a fun way. You keep fit having fun and meeting new friends.



Fave apparatus: Floor (tumbling)
Least fave apparatus: Bars – it kills my hands!

Apart from gym, I play Piano, I swim and do my Lovely homework (not!). I also participate each year in theatre plays, and this is real fun. I love performing, particularly the Christmas Pantos. It’s just like gym, performing in front of an audience, but you never get a medal!

My fave lesson is P.E/dance and Science.
My worst lesson is art as I am rubbish at it!
My fave teacher is probably my French teacher – Mrs.fox

My Ambitions for life is to take over my mum’s Job (but she says she does not plan to give it away yet) because she seems to be doing very interesting things and she says it is so nice to get up every day and be happy to go to work. I hope next year I can do my work experience in her Company (in her office, if she does not lock the door!).

Fave Food: Anything my mum cooks!
Fave drink: red Fanta
Fave colour: Pinkie purple this colour :)
Fave place: France! And my best holiday was when I went to Venice in Italy
Fave shop: Top shop, New look and shops in France

I like this joke: A young brunette goes into the doctor's office and says that it really hurts whichever part of her body she touches.

"Quite amazing," says the doctor. "Show me."

With her finger, she pushes her elbow and screams in agony. She pushes her knee and screams, pushes her ankle and screams and so on it goes.

The doctor says, "You're not really a brunette are you?"

She says, "No, I'm really a blonde."

"I thought so," he says. "Your finger is broken.”.
