General classes - Ages 4-15 years.

One hour structured classes for school aged children.

Our General Classes provide a structured development programme with the emphasis on fun and learning for children of all abilities and backgrounds.

Boys and girls develop balance, co-ordination, spatial awareness, stamina and flexibility whilst working on each piece of apparatus. We emphasise the importance of encouragement to the gymnasts both from the coach and to each other. All classes follow the British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards Programme.

All gymnasts in the General Classes have the opportunity to take part in our annual Club Champs Competition, although there is no pressure on them to compete if they choose not to.

These classes also provide a good foundation for any sports that children may do now or in the future. 

Boys and girls may participate in 1 or 2 sessions per week.  Advanced booking is essential.

FIRST SESSION IS FREE.

On the second session your child must also become a member of British Gymnastics, which includes a personal insurance scheme and pay a Club Membership fee of £30.00 per year.

The monthly fees for each class (1 hour per week) are as follows (calculated on a 50 week basis allowing for 2 weeks closure at Christmas, with the exception of Classes which are closed on Bank Holidays):-

Monday         (46 weeks)    ~       £13.80 per month (4 Bank Holidays)
Tuesday        (50 weeks)    ~       £15.00 per month
Wednesday    (50 weeks)    ~       £15.00 per month
Friday           (49 weeks)    ~       £14.70 per month (1 Bank Holiday)
Saturday        (49 weeks)    ~       £14.70 per month (closed Easter weekend)

All fees must be paid at beginning of the month otherwise there is a £5.00 charge for late payment
