Kent Teams Floor & Vault Championships 2009
Dover Gymnastics Club played host for this important county competition in November 2009.
More than 200 gymnasts took part in the General Gymnastics Floor and Vault Teams championships, with medals being won by a good mix of the participating clubs.
For this event, teams of four gymnasts with top 3 scores to count compete at five levels in both Junior and Senior age groups. Each of the categories is then open to a team of all girls or boys or a mixed team, a combination which enables clubs to include a high percentage of their members.
We are proud of our Dover GC gymnasts who achieved some excellent results:
Novice Boys Junior
Kai M, Owen H and Tyler McG = 1st place GOLD MEDALISTS
Novice Junior Girls
Natasha L, Nicole C, Sophie Y and Keely McH = 7th place
C Richardson, Bethany S, Samantha W and E Bumstead = 10th place
R Taylor, E Edwards and A Pegler = 11th place
Novice Girls Senior
Erin E, Kayley H and Lauren S = 4th place
Intermediate Mixed Junior
Jefferson C-J, Patrick B, Kelsey S and Abigayle P = 1st place GOLD MEDALISTS
Intermediate Girls Senior
Kodi M, Michelle D, Georgia D and Rebecca D = 2nd place SILVER MEDALISTS
Jessica D, Josie S, Rebecca O and Rebecca L = 4th place
Bronze Senior Girls
Holly G, Courtney T, Nicole S and Annabel K = 5th place
Silver Girls Senior
Elizabeth B, Rebecca S and Abbie L = 3rd place BRONZE MEDALISTS
