Boxing day dip helps raise funds for club
Dover Gym Club supporter Darryl Hunt braved the bracing cold English Channel on Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December 2009) to help raise funds for the club.
Darryl was one of many local people who took part in the annual Boxing Day Dip at Folkestone Sunny Sands which is organised by The Lions Club of Folkestone.
Darryl collected £100 in sponsor money, half of which will go to the Lions Club who help fund community projects, and the remainder will go to Dover Gym Club towards new equipment.
