Swifts Floor & Vault competition



The competition year got off to a great start with a medal haul for Dover Gym Club at the Sittingbourne Swifts Floor and Vault competition on Saturday 16 January.

Twenty seven gymnasts from our Novice, Intermediate, Bronze and Silver floor and vault squads entered the competition and brought back a total of 12 medals including four Golds, five Silvers and three Bronze.

All of the Dover gymnasts who took part completed both apparatus with some impressive scores, and did themselves, and the club proud. Well done!

Dover Gym Club showed its usual sportsmanship and got fully involved in helping out Swifts with their competition. Alison Martin, Club Treasurer, gave up her day to judge the blue floor, and Vice Chairman Jon Green provided his services as competition announcer.
